I'm a natural brunette, what will happen if I use a blonde shampoo?

Basically wondering if my hair will lighten, without the use of hair day, or if it will become discoloured. I'm trying to get a lighter colour naturally, it becomes lighter when I'm in the sun, will the shampoo have the same effect?I'm a natural brunette, what will happen if I use a blonde shampoo?
I am not really sure, but i would not take the risk.


If i were you i would use this product called ';Sun In'; I think there are tons of places to order it online. But what you do is spray that in your hair [all over] Then go sit in the sun for awhile and your hair will be lighter [like way lighter] And it will stay that way for about 6 months. It is REALLY awesome! I use it because i have dirty blonde hair and i wanted it lighter and it worked! I love the color of my hair now!

Absolutely nothing. Blond shampoo is for blonds just to keep it Shine and bright, it has no peroxide in it, so if you are wanting it to lighten your hair, it won't. Sorry.


And if you are brunette, remember this, you have seven stages of color to get through until you are blonde, so if this is what you want, please have a professional do it for you.
the shampoo will have little or no effect, if any effect it will become slightly lighter. if you want to get a lighter color, go to sallys beauty supply and buy sun in ... its a spray you put on your hair that will help the sun make it lighter without damaging your hair and it works pretty good, the more you spray on, the lighter you go
the shampoo wont lighten your hair, but it will bring out some of the lighter nautral highlights, so in a way, yes. you will just have lighter nautral haighlights. i heard it works from 17 magazine. they recommended the one by panteen
It might lighten a little bit but not much --- and if it does lighten it's most likey from the sun hitting your natural highlights and probably not from the shampoo.
no it wont lighten, the shampoo helps the color to remain for longer


if your hair isnt colored and you use it nothing will happen
unless the shampoo is designed to lighten hair....john freida Go Blonder claims to do so....then it will do nothing to your hair
ya i think it would just lighten your hair. i dont think it would damage it or anything.
iv used differnet ones.........some didnt do anything and some made my hair lighter
it mite lighten a lil but prob nothing major mainly bc ive never done it before...
i dont think anythink would happen
