What shampoo is the best for growing long hair?

i want to know the best shampoo for hair for it to grow longer and not damage it. Like salon shampoos or something. My hair is color damaged at the ends so I want to grow it out.What shampoo is the best for growing long hair?
No such thing! I don't think i know a single person with long hair who uses conditioner, most will use no-poo, conditioner-only/curly girl method, or water-only cleaning.





Stop using shampoo, it doesn't mean not washing as there are plenty of other ways to wash your hair, it's one of the best things you can do for your hair as shampoo strips hair of natural oils that it needs to stay strong and healthy so makes hair damaged, frizzy and generally not great looking - it also means your scalp overproduces oil so your hair actually get more greasy using shampoo.





Try conditioner-only washing as this is the easiest for most people to transition into as you get good results from day one and people tend to feel more comfortable with this method as you continue using the products you're used to. This method is where you use just conditioner to wash with, as they contain mild surfactants they cleanse your hair but without drying it out - this means hair will be healthier, shiny, easier to manage, softer, and not get greasy. The best conditioners for this is Boots Essentials conditioner or Aussie Volume Conditioner.





If not willing to ditch the shampoo at least try cutting down on how often you shampoo, go for shampoo's without sodium laureth sulfate (SLS), it's a common ingredient that is very drying, look at shampoo brands like Neal's Yard, or Lush which does still contain SLS but fewer other harmful ingredients.
